Shaun is less cautious than George--it helps that nothing short of actually killing him is going to make him amplify, and even that's still a question mark he's not ready to turn into a period--and he starts toward Mahir as soon as he comes into sight. He doesn't bother waiting for the blood test to work its magic before pulling him into a hug.
